FAQ

  • How do I prevent my candle from tunneling?

The first time, We recommend burning your candle long enough to liquefy the entire top layer. Doing this maintains a wide opening and avoids tunneling.

  • How is a wooden wick different from others?

Aside from the gentle crackle you don't get from other wicks, they do require a little more attention. Before each burn, you'll need to gently snap off the ash/burnt wood along the top edge of the wick. Then, you're free to go ahead and light it as usual. If the flame height starts to get too low after a while, tap off, and trim the ash the same way you did before initially lighting it. The flame will then go back to its standard height.

  • How strong are your candles?

Our candles have a strong, lasting scent that can fill up a room without overpowering it. To avoid a scent that's too strong or too faint, we recommend our three wick candles or 9 oz candles for larger rooms with high ceilings. Our mini candles are best suited at a desk or a smaller place like a dorm room or bathroom.

  • Are your candles vegan?

We are proud to say our candles are 100% vegan!

  •  Do you use essential oils in your candles?

Some of our scents include 100% essential oils, while others have fragrance oils with the components of essential oils.

  • Can the jar be repurposed?

Of course! When about ½” of wax remains, discontinue use and place what’s left in the freezer. Once the wax is hardened, chip away at it along with the wick stand. To finish, use soap and water to remove the wax residue.

What you do with the empty jar is up to you. We like to use it for makeup brushes, hair accessories, or DIY projects!

  • What happens if I don't like the scent?

We want all of our customers to fall in love with their candles, but if for any reason you're unhappy, please contact us right away.
